Progressive Actions Today
One of the crucial way to feel fulfillment in life….is to have progress in our daily duties. You need to feel the sense of progressing and growth to achieve long and short term goals. When nature is not progressing or growing, it becomes stale and ultimately….dies.
Everyday we have the opportunity to make progress in our endeavors either in a minute way or in a grande way. When we create progress, we feel content of satisfaction from living. From our daily life we can make simple progress in our careers, with our children, in our relationships, in our personal goals, ect.
Here are some ways to create progress:
*Set small daily goals that are attainable.
*Challenge yourself to learn something new. With access to the internet you can get carried away!
*Meet someone you’ve never met before. Or you may want to know something new about your friend you’ve never known before.
*Create new experiences for you that is just outside your comfort zone.
Progress makes us happy…progress makes us feel alive!

Wow, meet someone new everyday . . . I’d have to leave my computer alone for a few minutes. I’m halfway afraid it would explode without my constant supervision.
Good ideas. I have added three to my list for each of the next 3 days. I’ll report back.

Seeing progress is awesome. Persisting until you have done what you set out to do is amazingly liberating.

When I go home at the end of a day I always feel geat when I have accomplished alot of whatever I was doing or wanted to be done with a project. Setting small goals is a good place to start because it builds momentum.

It took me a long time to learn it, but setting small easily attainable goals each day make dealing with overwhelming amounts of “stuff” a lot easier.

My last two days on my trip I was standing outside for a long time at an outdoor Amsterdam Clash of the Bands rock concert. About half way through the first band I deciced I was going to engage in conversation with as many people around me as I could– even people who appeared rather “scary”.
It was a great experience and I met a lot of very cool people. We can never have enough friends…

Great post. I think it was Dr. Hogan who said “Procrastination is practicing for death.” If we don’t feel like we are progressing or growing then it’s worse than standing still, it’s more like regressing.
I like to think of what I do as helping people to get unstuck.

Yes, I would say that not only everyday but also every moment, we should make quality effort to do something. And don’t think that you are making all times effort, take some time for enjoyment, so that your mind would rest, and it would generete energy also.
